Brand new to Android, iStoryTime has released this app as part of their iStoryTime Library collection. The library is free and comes with four books, then more can be purchased through the iStoryTime book store either using real money or by using Story Points. Story Points are earned by watching ads, downloading or apps, or by completing actions in apps (e.g. completing a certain level). Users can also buy a subscription to iStoryTime for a monthly or annual free, providing unlimited access to the library, a new book for free every week and access to the library from all devices.
Rise of the Guardians is a really cool story that will appeal to middle elementary children who are reaching that age where believing in the Tooth Fairy and the like has become uncool. There are three narration options: auto-play, read-to-me and read-to-myself. Each of the 31 pages has an interactive element that animates part of the illustration when the screen is tapped. My favourite thing about this story is Bunnymund, the Easter bunny, because he is not what you might expect an Easter bunny to be. Instead of a little cute fluffy bunny, he is large and he is tough. Of course, he is Australian!
