There are basically five screens in this app: the introduction where the animals run off and hide, one screen to find each of the three animal characters, then a final screen to create a Lego character. To find the hiding animal characters, the toddler simply drags a pile of Lego to look behind it. To find the first character, there are two piles to check behind, the second character has three piles and the final character is found behind one of four piles of Lego. The final "creating" screen involves the toddler tapping the head, body and base of a Lego character to choose from a range of possible options.
As toddlers are playing with this app, parents can talk about the different animals, where they might hide given their size, clues to look for (body parts sticking out), whether or not their expectations were met, and any similarities or differences between the different scenes. Toddlers love to play peekaboo and the thrill of finding the animals in different places every time will keep them coming back to play this app over and over. Enjoy!

APP DESCRIPTION ON GOOGLE PLAY
A classic hide and seek game for 1½-3 year old toddlers with our two LEGO® DUPLO® mascots Giraffe and Rabbit, and their new friend Teddy. (If you thought a Giraffe is too tall to hide behind a couple of bricks, think again.)
If you’re a parent of toddlers, you may have discovered that playing Peek a Boo (in real life) can be an endless source of entertainment. And what’s the best part? The thrill of finding the one who was hiding -- in crazy hiding places, of course.
Once toddlers have found the three sneaky friends in the game, they can build their own digital DUPLO trophy and start over, or pour out a bucket of their own bricks, and build places to hide from their older siblings. Or parents. (If you thought a toddler can’t hide behind a couple of bricks… well, you get the picture.)
LEGO® DUPLO® Peek a Boo is the latest in a series of web and app games for toddlers, based on Giraffe and Rabbit’s adventures in the land of DUPLO.
Features:
*Bright, fun, and toddler-friendly animations and soundtrack
*Intuitive icons and navigation for easy game play
*Virtual building with LEGO® DUPLO® bricks
*No in-app purchases
*No third party advertising
*No links to websites
About LEGO® DUPLO®
A preschool building toy specifically designed for children ages 1 ½ - 5 – small hands and big imaginations! Preschoolers can learn about shapes and colors hands-on. When the chewing-the-bricks phase fades out, the building experience phase takes over, helping to stimulate and improve fine motor skills development. (Bricks-poured-onto-hard-surface noises stimulate other senses, too.)
