It's Smurfette's birthday and all of Smurf Village are set to celebrate with a surprise birthday party. Smurfette is suffering self doubt, as she does every birthday, and this is exacerbated by the fact that her Smurf buddies are all pretending they do not know it is her birthday. In her search for reassurance, she gets caught up in an evil plan by Gargamel to take over Smurf Village. The adventure to save Smurfette is fraught with danger and takes Papa Smurf and others all the way to Paris where they learn that Smurfette has given Gargamel the secret formula for turning Smurfs blue.
Three narration options mean children of all reading abilities can enjoy the storybook. The images and audio are taken from the Sony Pictures movie, so are of excellent quality, plus there are no ads, in-app purchases or external links, making this a top notch Android app. Unfortunately, there are no interactive elements with this story, but if you saw this movie as a family, then this is a nice story to read with your child.
