Within each of the four operations, there are various exercises, which practice different skills, with each level requiring 10 answers given in 100 seconds. The pass rate is high, at 80%, and a sticker is awarded for every level achieved. Levels can be repeated as many times as necessary in order to pass, however, the latest score will be the one recorded for parents, so if the level was passed 100% the first time, but then repeated and passed on 80%, 8/10 will be recorded in the "Grade so far" information for parents.
Difficulty of the math equations increases as the levels progress, beginning with addition and subtraction to 10, and one and two times tables. Eventually, your child will be adding and subtracting double digits up to 50, and multiplying and dividing up to 50. Math Heroes is a great way for kids to practice mental math and an excellent way for teachers/parents to see where more practice is needed.
