Just released onto Android, Toca Mini is a fun creative expression app for kids. These 3D avatars are customizable and give children an outlet for their imagination. Kind of like a 3D doodling/coloring book, these avatars can be colored using a broad spectrum pallet, as well as decorated with over 120 stickers. Toca Boca are one of the biggest names in the kids' app game, and this is well worth downloading.

Given a four-star review by Kelli at Smart Apps For Kids, with this as her bottom line: Another very nice offering from Toca Boca to inspire your children to play and create. I was a little disappointed that we couldn’t DO more with our creations once they were done, but it has still offered hours of enjoyment for us as we create different little Toca Minis.
As Kelli said, once the Toca Mini is created, there is no further interaction, and all that is left to do is to box the Mini up and start afresh. Looking at the screenshots, I can see that the challenge would be to recreate the Minis that are provided as examples or even to create something that appears less humanoid. These creative expression apps are a good test of children's higher order thinking skills, if they are able to create something that does not necessarily conform to the norm. Placing three eyes, or creating an outfit that would not be culturally acceptable may indicate an ability to think outside the square.
