Tablets are great tools, and lots of fun. They are handy when you need a time filler, or a distractor, or even as a reward. We want the tablet to be filled with good apps, though, but not all of them need be heavily involved, core curriculum state standards approved. Here is an app that still trains the brain, without draining the brain, or even the tablet memory, battery, or your wallet!
Mesh is a simple, but addictive puzzle app that requires the player to link all the pathlines, by rotating each tile, to illuminate all of the globes. The grid size can be set to 5x5, 7x7, 9x9, 11x11, 13x13, 15x15 or custom built with up to 25 rows or columns. The source of "light" can be set in the center, or placed randomly and the pathlines can be set to wrap around the edges or not.
Mesh is a single player app that does not require internet connection to play and has no in-app purchases.
